McDonald’s giving away popular sandwich for just £1.39 in huge deal – here’s how to get yours

MCDONALD’S fans will be able to get their hands on one of the fast food chain’s most popular burgers for just £1.39 tomorrow.

But they will need to be quick as the deal is available for one day only via the McDonald’s app.

Customers will be able to get their hands on the McChicken Sandwich, which is made with a coated chicken patty, topped with shredded lettuce and creamy sandwich sauce in a soft sesame bun.

The offer is part of the McDonald’s Deal Drop, which gives you discounts every Monday.

To get the deal, customers will need to download the McDonald’s app via Google Play or the Apple App Store and opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

They will then receive a notification or email every Monday with the deals available.

The deals will drop into the Rewards and Offers section in the McDonald’s App.

They can then be used for McDelivery and in-store via the McDonald’s App.

Customers can also use the app to earn rewards on their spending at McDonald’s by opting in to MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

For every penny you spend you earn one Rewards point.

Once you have enough points you can redeem them for a free coffee, burger or sweet treat.

McDonald’s has launched two other Deal Drops for delivery-only customers.

Fast food fans can get a free Cheesy Bacon Flatbread when they spend £10.

The popular treat is made with bacon and melted cheese in a freshly toasted flatbread.

Or they can grab a free Cheeseburger which can be redeemed on delivery orders over £15.

The home of the golden arches is also offering customers the chance to grab a burger and medium portion of fries for just £2.99.

How to save at McDonald's

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research byFlying Ezefound a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald's receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.

Customers can choose between a Big Mac, Quarter Pounded with cheese, McChicken sandwich, McPlant and Fillet-o-Fish.

But they will need to be quick as the offer ends tonight.

Those wanting to head to their nearest restaurant will need to make sure they have downloaded the McDonald’s App beforehand.

What else is going on at McDonald’s?

McDonald's is adding three new items to its menu next week in a huge shake up.

The fast food chain has unveiled new food, toys and collectables based on the iconic Minecraft video game.

From March 26 fans will be able to get their hands on the new Apple Cake McFlurry, “Nether Flame”; hot sauce and Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers.

The McFlurry will combine soft dairy ice cream with apple and shortcake pieces.

It will be topped with a sour apple sauce.

A mini will cost £1.69 while a regular size will set you back £2.19.

The Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers will be available for a limited time only.

They will be made from mozzarella cheese infused with garlic and chives, which is wrapped in a ciabatta-style breadcrumb coating.

They will be served with a tomato dip.

They will be available as four pieces or a sharebox, though McDonald’s has not yet confirmed how much it will cost.

Meanwhile, the new “Nether Flame”; hot sauce is inspired by the Minecraft game.

The sauce will come with the new Minecraft Movie Meal, which will feature a Big Mac, nine McNuggests or four veggie dippers.

You will also get the choice of a side and carbonated drink and an exclusive collectable toy.

There will be six collectables on offer including the Grimace Egg, Zombie Hamburglar, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Soda Potion and Big Mac Crystal.

The meal will be available in a medium or large size and prices will start from £8.19.

The home of the golden arches is also launching a Minecraft Happy Meal, which will cost around £3.99.

The meal will be available from March 26 for a limited time only.

Every happy meal will come with one of 12 branded new toys including film characters such as Evoker, Bee, Skeleton, Sheep and Creeper.

The meal will also include a Minecraft Adventures book which is full of activities for kids.
