Mike confirmed the programme will air this year and will see the what the presenter gets up to at his own garage.

He made the exciting announcement on X today, revealing that he would be running the show with his wife Michelle.

The post reads: “Hello everyone it’s and haven’t I got some good for you because we’re launching a brand new TV show which is on Quest TV.

“It’s a backstage pass to my life. Everything I get up to including buying, flipping and selling some amazing cars together with my wife Michelle and our incredible team.

“I hope you do tune in because you won't want to miss out.”;

The project won't be a new series of Wheeler Dealers, much to the disappointment of motor make-over enthusiasts, but fans will still get to see the host tackle some iconic motors.

It's expected that Mike will be filming the One Automotive dealership in Leamington Spa – a used car dealership founded by the TV star.

Users on X were quick to comment on the announcement sharing their excitement about the new show.

One congratulated the presenter, saying: “Brilliant news, cheers Mike.”

An excited motor fanatic responded: “That sounds awesome!!!!!”

A third X-user knew someone who would be keen to see it: “Hubs will love this he watches your old shows on Dave constantly.”

Another fan was desperate to know more: “Great news – what’s it called and when is it on?”

Mike has been hinting at the new show for a few weeks by posting the occasional snap of camera crews on his social media.

He even showed off a production team filming at his One Automotive base in Leamington Spa with no explanation.

Pointing to a camera, Mike said on his channel: “Something else is happening with us at One Automotive – and it's Chloe being usurped by this gigantic camera.

“More of which we will be able to reveal and tell you as the weeks roll on we can fill you in a little bit more about what's going on there.

“Why is there a crew following us around at One Automotive? I'll be able to tell you more about that very very soon.”

He has reassured fans that another series of Wheeler Dealer: World tour is going ahead and will be filmed after his new project with Marc Priestley.

The presenter is also keeping busy featuring in an episode of Car SOS which renovates old cars owned by the public.
