Mollie King, 37, recently gave birth to her second baby, Lilianna, in January.

The duo already share a daughter, Annabella, who is 19-months-old, as they move forward with their expanded family.

Now, the Radio 1 star has admitted that the first weeks with the newborn were ‘tricky' at home.

This is especially as the former cricketer is currently working abroad in the first few months of caring for her new baby.

She told the Mail Online: “I feel like the first few weeks – it was the same with Annabella – I did find it quite tricky.

“You're just really in that sort of survival mode of, you're up all night, you're feeding constantly, but now I'm at that stage where I'm really able to sort of enjoy it and take the most of each moment.

She added: “I've actually found it easy going from one to two rather than going from none to one, because I feel like I've got that little bit of experience and a bit more knowledge.

“I really felt like I knew nothing when I had Annabella.”

However, her fiancé had to go back to work almost immediately as he went to South Africa to commentate on the Premier T20 cricket league.

With all the demands of parenthood, Mollie was forced to rely on her mum and her in-laws for support.

“He went to South Africa for 5 weeks quite soon after she was born, which wasn't ideal timing, so my amazing mum and mother-in-law really stepped in and helped me out with that,” the former This Morning presenter explained.

“But since he's been back from South Africa. It has just been so lovely to have that family time while I'm on maternity leave.

“It's been nice to sort of feel like the four of us are a little used it and most of that time. I know how precious the time is.

Mollie added: “I know how quickly it goes by. So yeah, we've been really trying to like make the most of each day and do fun activities and get out.”
