Ashley Stobart – wife of millionaire haulage heir – hit headlines when she she'd had a aged 34, and is no stranger to experimenting with a whole host of treatments to improve the

She recently decided to try out a CO2 laser on her face – which uses a carbon dioxide laser to remove the top layer of skin.

This is meant to stimulate collagen production, which improves skin texture and helps with wrinkles, scars, and uneven skintone.

And in an episode of her and pal Lauren's Nip Tuck podcast, Ashley admitted the process – which goes “deeper than a chemical peel” – isn't for the faint of heart.

“It feels like someone throwing hot oil on you,” she said.

“And you can smell the burning skin.”

“People sometimes are sedated while they have it done,” she added.

Following the treatment, she was left swollen, red-faced and virtually unrecognisable.

So much so that her husband said she'd gone “too far”, and her just wanted to know when she'd start looking

“Saskia wouldn't let me pick her up from school,” Lauren sighed.

“And then she kept going ‘when will it go down?'”

However, Lauren insisted she's at an age where she's not going to listen to anyone else, and will do what she wants.

Especially if she gets smooth, wrinkle-free skin in the process.

“I love skin, I love treatments!” she declared.

People were quick to comment on the podcast chat, with many admitting Lauren's chat about the treatment has just made them want it even more.

“Omg I’ve been dying to get this done,” one wrote.

“Thanks for talking about it!!”

“10000% will be getting this,” another added.

“No pain, no gain,” a third commented.

“Off to get CO2 now!”

“I’d love to have CO2 resurfacing,” someone else said.

“Looks good!”

The CO2 laser treatment doesn't come cheap though.

You can expect to pay anything up to around £600 for a single treatment on your face.
