TWO more men have been charged with murder over the death of a “much-loved” grandad.

Barry Dawson, 60, was shot dead through a window at his own home in Stanley, County, on Saturday afternoon.

Two more men are now set to appear in court over his murder, after a couple were charged with murder and perverting the course of justice last week.

Superintendent Neil Fuller, of Durham Police, said: “We are not looking for anyone else in connection with Mr Dawson’s death and want to thank the community for their continued support while our extensive enquiries were carried out.

“We appreciate the patience and support residents have given us as officers have worked around-the-clock on our investigation.”;
