Published on March 29, 2025 at 07:57 AM

Victor Boniface has asked for patience from Nigerians following his goal drought with the Super Eagles.

Boniface is yet to open his goal account for three-time African champions after 12 outings.

The 24-year-old scored in Bayer Leverkusen's 3-1 victory over Bochum on Friday night.

The goal was his 11th of the season for Xabi Alonso's side.

Boniface took to his Instagram story to reassure Nigerian supporters, requesting for patience to break his international goal drought.

“Nigerians please be patient with me, the goal will come,”; he posted.
