EasyJet has revealed it will run two flights a week from Southampton Airport to the City of Love, Paris.

This is the eighth route the budget airline has added in its drive to build connections between South England and Europe.

Over 18 months, it has launched flights to Alicante, Amsterdam, Belfast, Faro, Glasgow, and Palma de Mallorca.

Public transport allows you to whizz into the historic city centre in just 25 minutes from Paris Orly.

Daily shuttle busses to Disneyland Paris also make it ideal for a seamless family friendly trip.

Ali Gayward, EasyJet’s UK country manager, said: “Our new twice weekly service from Southampton to Paris Orly will provide our customers in the south of England with a convenient connection to the French capital.

“Paris provides the perfect place for a stunning city break or a gateway to explore France, and we look forward to welcoming more customers onboard this summer.”

Building connections between Southampton and Europe has been a roaring success, with 300,000 passengers travelling to the Swiss capital since 2017.

Gavin Williams, managing director of Southampton Airport, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome EasyJet’s new route to Paris Orly, further strengthening Southampton Airport’s role as a key gateway for the Central South.

“This addition not only connects our region to one of the world’s most iconic cities but also highlights the growing demand for convenient, well-connected travel options for the central south region.”

The iconic airline is also offering packages, so you can sort your hotel, flight and transport with the click of a few buttons.

Covered by its package holiday provider, Ultimate Flexibility, they allow you to chop and change your plans, allowing the freedom to change a booking and a refund and best price guarantee.
