The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Monday urged Super Eagles fans to fill the Godswill Akpabio Stadium with green and white when Nigeria host Zimbabwe in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Tuesday evening.

In a bid to attract supporters to the stadium, the NFF also announced that the first 500 fans to purchase tickets would receive Super Eagles jerseys.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the NFF General Secretary, Dr Mohammed Sanusi.

“We are calling on Nigerians to turn out in large numbers to support the Super Eagles on Tuesday,”; the statement partly read.

“When we played Rwanda in Kigali on Friday, the Rwandans filled the Amahoro Stadium to full capacity.

“Let us fill the stadium with green and white, and drum and dance to support the team.”;

Nigeria secured a 2-0 victory over Rwanda last Friday in Kigali.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe played out a 2-2 draw against Benin Republic last Thursday.
