Nigerian government condoles with India over killing of 26 by terrorists

The Federal Government of Nigeria on Tuesday, condemned the recent terrorist attack in South Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of many persons.

According to reports, the unfortunate attack resulted in the tragic loss of 26 innocent lives, while at least one person was injured.

The victims were 25 tourists and one local guide, who were strolling peacefully through Kashmir’s verdant Baisaran valley when the terrorists attacked them.

In its condolence message, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement by its spokesperson, Kimiebi Ebienfa that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations is a global menace that requires collective action.

“Nigeria, having faced similar challenges, understands the devastating impact of such acts of violence and reiterates its call for enhanced global cooperation to combat terrorism and extremism.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of India as they recover from this tragedy, and we stand united in the shared pursuit of peace, stability, and justice worldwide”;, the statement added.
