NNL: Barau FC adopt Sani Abacha Stadium as new home ground

The Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Barau FC, have adopted the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano as their home ground for the remainder of the season.

They previously played their home matches at the Dambatta Stadium in Kano.

The NNL gave the approval in a letter sent to the club, signed by Chief Operating Officer Danlami Alanana.

The league body urged the state football association to ensure the smooth hosting of all matches involving Barau FC at their new ground.

Barau FC will welcome Zamfara United to their new ground in a matchday eight fixture on Saturday (today).

They occupy sixth position on the NNL Group C table, with six points from six matches.
