Published on April 30, 2025 at 01:48 PM

Kada Warriors head coach, Danlami Kwasau Umar has said that with focus from his players the team can avoid relegation in the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The Kaduna club occupy fifth position in the NNL Group D table with 12 points, two points above the relegation zone.

Kada Warriors will trade tackles with Yobe Desert Stars in their next league game.

Umar declared that they will fight hard to achieve their objective

“We just need to focus on the game and take the game one at a time,”; Umar told the club’s media.

“After the victory against Sporting Supreme, we look at the next one again with Yobe Desert Stars and we take it from there.”;

Umar also stated that with the quality of the newly recruited players, the team can achieve greater things.

“I don’t really have time to change the starting eleven but I can see the quality the boys are giving. Most on the players that were recruited came in on merit,”; he added.

“They really want to play and they showed it on the pitch.”;
