Nigeria National League, NNL Chairman, George Aluo, says they are closely monitoring matches and referees ahead of the final round of games in the division
Aluo stated that the clubs are also cooperating with the league body to have a successful end to the season.
“We are closely monitoring the games and ensuring the referees do the right thing,” Aluo told DAILY POST.
“The clubs are also cooperating because they now make their fans realize that the era of winning at all costs at home is gone.”
Warri Wolves, Kun Khalifat FC, Wikki Tourists and Doma United currently occupy top spot in the four groups.
Two teams will qualify from each group for the Super Eight playoff tournament.
The winner of the playoff will be crowned Champions of the 2025 NNL season, while four teams will gain promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.
