Nova Scotia to provide update Tuesday following spike of cases the day before

Nova Scotia to provide a COVID-19 update Tuesday afternoon.

Premier Iain Rankin and Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia's chief medical officer of health, will provide the update at 1 p.m.

The briefing will be livestreamed on our Global News website.

Nova Scotia health officials reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing the number of active cases in the province to 63 — the highest number since before Christmas.

The last time the province reported double-digit cases was in February, and the last time 15 new cases were reported was Dec. 4.
