NPFL: Asuqwo wins Akwa United’s Player of the Month award

Etiene Asuqwo has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Akwa United Player of the Month for March.

Asuqwo was also rewarded with N150,000 for winning the award.

He played a crucial role in the Promise Keepers' wins over Niger Tornadoes and Kwara United.

Akwa United recorded three wins and one draw in the four matches played in the month.

Kennedy Boboye’s side also moved out of the relegation zone following their impressive results.

Akwa United occupies 16th position on the league table with 37 points.
