Katsina United technical adviser, Azeez Audu, has lauded his players for adhering to tactical instructions in their emphatic victory over Abia Warriors.

The Chanji Boys overwhelmed their visitors with a 5-1 triumph at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium on Saturday.

Lukman Bello bagged a brace, while Mubarak Said, Nura Abdulbari, and Ahmed Taofeek also found the back of the net for Katsina United. Anthony Ijioma scored the lone goal for Abia Warriors.

Audu, visibly pleased with the performance, encouraged his players to sustain the momentum as the season progresses.

“I am very proud of my boys. They played according to instructions,” Audu stated after the game.

“I am very confident of my boys. I want us to continue like this. We are going back to gear up for our next match against Sunshine Stars.”

Katsina United are set to face Sunshine Stars in their forthcoming league encounter.
