NPFL: Ikorodu City to miss key trio vs Akwa United

Ikorodu City have ruled out three players from the Matchday 35 fixture against Akwa United.

“Freedom Marvelous, Ganiyu Adio, and Toyeeb Ajeyigbe remain unavailable due to injury and will sit this one out,” Ikorodu City wrote on their website.

Ikorodu City are currently on a four-game unbeaten run in the league.
The Oga Boys are in contention for a CAF Confederation Cup ticket, while Akwa United are battling relegation.

Ikorodu City will lock horns with Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday.

They defeated Akwa United 4-1 in the reverse fixture.
