NPFL: Kano Pillars boss explains why team lost to Enyimba

Published on April 21, 2025 at 09:01 PM

Kano Pillars technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, has said the absence of the key trio Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi and Fahad Usman contributed to the team's 2-1 defeat to Enyimba.

Abdallah stated that the three players missing the Matchday 34 encounter disrupted his plans for the game.

“Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi, at the dying minute, could not get a flight for this match. Fahad Usman, our vice-captain, was discovered to be suspended for one game, having received five yellow cards,” the gaffer was quoted by Completesports.

“Three regular players who had trained with us throughout the week were ruled out of the team, and I think that affected us.”;
