Published on March 25, 2025 at 10:28 AM

Shooting Stars defender Samuel Okon has expressed satisfaction with his performance in the 3-1 victory over Niger Tornadoes.

Okon, who made his debut for Shooting Stars in the match, netted the third goal with a well-struck free kick and capped his efforts by winning the Man of the Match award.

The former Bayelsa United defender expressed his readiness to contribute to the team's success.

“I am extremely happy to make my debut for this club, to score, and most importantly, to help the team win this game,” Okon told Shooting Stars Media.

“I believe we have what it takes to make our people happy, and I am always ready to contribute my quota to ensure the team's success.”

Shooting Stars moved up to fourth place with 47 points.
