Holders, Rangers are disappointed with the Oriental derby defeat to Heartland, DAILY POST reports.

The Flying Antelopes suffered a 2-0 defeat to Heartland at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.

The Flying Antelopes apologised to their supporters for the defeat.

“A difficult day for us at home,” Rangers wrote on their Facebook page after the game.

“We apologise to our fans and supporters who turned up in numbers.

“We are building a young team for the future, and while setbacks like this hurt, we remain committed to growing stronger.”

Rangers dropped to eighth position on the table following the defeat.
