NWFL: Edo Queens set to maintain unbeaten run against Remo Stars Ladies

Edo Queens General Manager Rollanson Odeh says that the team's aim is to preserve their unbeaten run in the clash against Remo Stars Ladies.

The reigning Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions are yet to taste defeat in the league this season.

Edo Queens will square up with Remo Stars Ladies in an NWFL matchday 11 fixture in Ikenne on Wednesday.

Odeh expressed confidence in the quality of players paraded by coach Moses Aduku's team this season.

“You are aware that since the beginning of the season we have not lost any game, our vision and mission here in Ikenne is to maintain our unbeaten run record,” Odeh stated ahead of the game.

“Our girls have done it before, they can do it again. All we need now is total commitment, determination and strong will.

“The head of the technical crew Moses Aduku brought in players with the right mentality who can help make a good impact in Wednesday's cracker. We obviously understand that we are up against a strong side; they are our rivals in group A, and it is going to be a game of the titans.

“We have high-class players that are battle-ready and who have admirably enjoyed a good run of form in their games. So, at this critical level of the league, Edo Queens cannot afford to drop a point. We started well, and we will finish well.”
