Published on April 24, 2025 at 08:09 PM

Nasarawa Amazons head coach Christopher Danjuma has said that his team's main objective is to win the Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL title.

Danjuma's side booked their spot in the NWFL Super Six playoff following Wednesday's 1-0 victory over holders Edo Queens at the Lafia City Stadium.

Janet Akekoromowei scored the winning goal one minute from time.

“Our target is to qualify for the CAF Women's Champions League, and to do that, we need to win the Super Six in Ikenne,” the gaffer told the club's media.

Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, and Remo Stars Ladies have all qualified for the season-ending tournament.
