According to bargain-mad shoppers, Quality Discounts have slashed the price of a garden essential that's sure to come in handy for those chilly summer evenings.

One thrifty social media user, Linda Steerment took to the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to inform fellow Facebook fans about the epic offer.

She told the other members on the viral forum that the mega retailer was now selling STATUS Outdoor Electric Heater for a mere £29.99, down from an eye-watering £89.98.

The outdoor heater, which comes with three customisable heat settings, will let you and your guests experience instant warmth, ensuring a cosy ambiance within seconds of activation.

Equipped with a safety tip-over switch, this patio heater automatically shuts off if accidentally knocked over, reducing the risk of accidents or fire hazards, especially around children or pets.

What's more, you can also customise the patio heater's position with adjustable height ensuring even warmth for everyone's comfort.

The black stainless steal heater, which boasts an impressive 4.3-star rating on Amazon, weighs just 9.2kg – or a little over 20lbs.

Online, happy shoppers have been raving about the product, with one dubbing it ”great value for money”.

The customer wrote: ”Great for the garden space we have. The heat just didn’t cover the other end of the space we needed so ended up buying a 2nd. Great value for money.”

Another said: ”Great! Heats up well.”

Quality Discounts is an independently-owned discount shop primarily operating in the East of England.

It currently has 32 locations, according to recent data on the QD website.

Further afield locations include in Aylesbury, Suffolk, Essex and Leicester.

The first QD branch was opened in Norwich in 1985.

It has kept a simple red and white logo of QD, which stands for the store's name.

In April 2022, the chain decided to give fellow discounters Poundland andHome Bargainsa run for their money by offering a frozen food section.

Despite this, a number of shoppers have still never heard of the brand.
