A BELOVED hotel a stone's throw away from two UK beaches has shut down.
Devastated holidaymakers shunned the news as they were forced to part ways with one of their favourite coastal stays.



Amid a string of setbacks to the hospitality industry, another hotel bit the dust ahead of the season.
Pine Lodge, in Newquay, , announced their sad closure to clientele on social media.
The picturesque hotel is just yards away from heaving tourist hotspots Newquay and Porth Beach.
Despite it's glowing reviews and glorious location, the owners revealed they had “navigated some challenging circumstances”.
But they added how management will be “focusing time and energy on new opportunities” during “a new chapter”.
A statement on read: “A Heartfelt Thank You from Pine Lodge. To all our wonderful guests and friends,
“We would like to extend our deepest thanks for your loyalty, custom, and support over the years. It has truly been our pleasure to welcome so many of youâseason after seasonâand to share in your holidays, special occasions, and memorable moments here at Pine Lodge.
“As many of you know, we’ve navigated some challenging circumstances in recent years.
“Through it all, your encouragement and continued support have meant the world to us.
“After much thought and reflection, we’ve made the decision not to open to guests for the upcoming season.
“Instead, we are focusing our time and energy on new opportunities and other avenues, and we’re excited about what the future holds.
“This isn’t goodbyeâjust a new chapter.
“Thank you again for being part of our journey. We carry with us fond memories of every smile, story, and sunny morning shared at Pine Lodge.”

The Green Ridge resort will open with 400 lodges across 70 acres of land.
On-site will be a swimming and indoor spa area, with treatments on offer to guests.
A waterpark and splash park will be on-site also, as well as playgrounds.
An indoor activity centre as well as outdoor events, walking trails and lakes will be part of the park.
Restaurants, shops and a bar and café will also open.
Despite some opposition, the park has been given approval to open.
Councillor Rob Nolan told local media: “Tourism is changing in Cornwall and big are closing down.”
While he said he “understood” concerns of locals, he added there “was a need for it”.
Earlier this year Newquay was named the best UK holiday hotspot by Go Outdoors.
Looking at hotels, activities, local transport and weather, the Cornish town came out on top.

The county is often associated with beautiful beaches, stunning coastal scenery and a vibrant summer tourism scene, much like Ibiza.
“In Cornwall, I can go home after the party and not pay ridiculous prices for entry and drinks,”; one local said.
Another local beamed that the county “just lowkey has better vibes”; than the Spanish island.
