Popular American singer, Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known as NBA YoungBoy, has been released from prison.

NBA YoungBoy, who is facing multiple legal trials, was reportedly released on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Jamaican-American podcaster and internet personality, DJ Akademiks made the announcement on X.

Sharing the details, he wrote; “Looks like NBA YOUNGBOY has been released from federal prison and either transferred to a half way house or is headed home”.

DAILY POST recalls that YoungBoy, who was initially serving 27 months on federal charges, entered a no contest plea for 36 additional charges in 2024.

Following his plea deal, the judge, Spencer Walsh, reduced the rapper's felony charges to Class A misdemeanors, and imposed a $25,000 fine instead.
