THE Post Office plays a vital role throughout the year, not least in the run up to bank holidays.
Your local branch's opening hours might be affected so it's worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.

Post Office opening hours over the Bank Holiday
Post Office opening hours can vary from branch to branch.
On Good Friday and Easter Monday they may shut or reduce their opening hours.
Some may open this Saturday while others may be closed all weekend.

Deliveries over the Easter Bank Holiday
Deliveries will be affected over the Easter Bank Holiday.
The Post Office does not collect or deliver packages on bank holidays, which means there will be no postal service on April 18 or 21.
However, deliveries are expected to take place as normal on April 22 and Easter Saturday (April 19).
With no deliveries on Good Friday though, expect mail to be delayed on Easter Saturday.
