Sunshine Queens captain, Ololade Akintunde, has assured the club's supporters that there will be improvement in their performance ahead of the next game in the Women President Federation Cup.

The Akure club secured passage to the Round of 16 of the competition with a 8-7 penalty shootout win over Castmog Ladies in Lagos.

The game ended goalless in the regulation time.

“This is our first game together as a new team. There is going to be great improvement in our next match,” Akintunde stated after the game.

“We thank our coaches and the management of the club for their support.

“We are going back immediately to start preparing for the task ahead.”
