The Nigeria National League, NNL has commended the performance of their teams in the President Federation Cup.
The NNL chairman, George Aluo gave the commendation in a chat with DAILY POST.
Aluo stated that the performance displayed by the team in the competition showed the quality of the league.
DAILY POST recalls that Solution FC defeated Lobi Stars in the Round of 32 while Beyond Limits eliminated Rivers United in the same stage
Abakaliki FC also defeated Enyimba in the Round of 16.
“The performance of the clubs is not bad at all. We have two of them in the last eight. Beyond having them there, the fact that they have been posting fantastic results shows the quality of the league,” Aluo told DAILY POST.
“New comers Abakaliki FC eliminating Enyimba speaks volume. Beyond Limits bundled out Rivers United before losing out. Unfortunately but for the pairings, Wikki and Warri Wolves are two NNL clubs that would probably have remained in the competition but they met each other in the round of 16.”
