PRIME Video has axed two popular spin-off shows – although fans won't be missing out for long.
The streamer has pulled the plug on spy thrillers Honey Bunny and Diana.



Both are spin-offs to smash-hit Citadel – and were set in India and Italy respectively.
Although not continuing as separate shows, it is planned for storylines from each to be weaved into Citadel's second series.
Vernon Sanders, the head of Amazon MGM Studios' division, opened up further about the decision.
He revealed in a statement: “Having successfully traversed India and Italy, storylines from bothCitadel: Honey BunnyandCitadel: Dianawill be woven into the upcoming second season of the mothership seriesCitadel.
“While these successful and widely enjoyed international chapters will not continue as individual series, Season 2 ofCitadelwill be our most exhilarating yet.”
Sanders concluded: “With high-stakes storytelling, new additions to our amazing cast and bold, cinematic ambition, the new season will deepen the emotional journeys of Nadia, Mason and Orlick against the relentless force that is Manticore.”;
Citadel: Honey Bunny took place in the 90s and 00s and followed Nadia's parents.
Meanwhile, Citadel: Diana followed an undercover agent who has infiltrated Manticore.
The original Citadel including , Jonas, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville.
The synopsis for series two reads: “Just one month after the first season's finale, the Citadel spies are forced underground, evading Manticore agents worldwide.”
They team up with new rogue operatives in order to disrupt the plans of tycoon Paulo Braga, who is determined to cause chaos.
Meanwhile, the first series followed top agents Mason and Nadia after having had their minds wiped.
The pair found themselves back in action while sinister forces reappeared from their past.
Citadel is available to stream on Prime Video.
