Putin’s game dangerous for everyone – Zelenskyy tells Trump

Published on March 31, 2025 at 05:54 AM

Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has asked US president, Donald Trump to “force Russia into peace”.

Zelenskyy's comments come after Trump said he was “p***ed off” with Russia president Vladimir Putin.

Trump is angry with Putin for questioning Zelenskyy's credibility and legitimacy after he insisted this week that Ukraine needs new leadership.

The American president also warned Russia it could face fresh economic sanctions for the flub in peace negotiations.

In the wake of Trump's tirade, Zelenskyy took to X to say “Right now, Russia continues looking for excuses to drag this war out even further.

“Putin is playing the same game he has since 2014.

“This is dangerous for everyone — and there should be an appropriate response from the United States, Europe, and all our global partners who seek peace.”
