Race Across the World Experience Comes to London

YOU will soon be able to immerse yourself in Race Across the World.

The experience is coming to London this spring and you can take on the exciting adventure around the capital that will push you to your limit and put everything you know to the test.

Anyone who watches Race Across the World will know the contestants compete for eight weeks over various countries and continents.

Sadly, not everyone has time for that, so this immersive experience is perfect for a weekend or after work as it takes up to three hours to complete.

The experience, opening in spring 2025, will be a “high-stakes adventure across London” based on the TV series.

They also tease that “strategy, teamwork and quick thinking” are the “key to success”.

It's a foot race across London where you'll navigate around classic landmarks to reach various checkpoints.

Just like in the show, you'll have to find your bearings without modern technology – which means no mobile phones or maps.

So maybe brush up on your London knowledge before the game begins.

For anyone wanting to get a good time, be prepared as the adventure is across 3.1 miles – and there's no public transport allowed.

While technically, it is a race, you can opt not to do that and to take your time doing the challenge and soak up the sights instead.

At the checkpoints there will be puzzles and “memorable surprises”.

The website says: “Unlock different paths, weigh up detours and adapt tounexpected twists, themost obvious route isn’t always the bestone.”

As for the teams, you'll need a minimum of two people and a maximum of eight.

At the end, teams will be scored based on their time and remaining budget – any team that does well can become the daily or weekly champion.

The experience comes from CityDays and All3 Media – Tom Rymer, the CityDays founder, said: “We are beyond excited to bring the Race Across The World experience to life in London.

“It’s a dream come true for fans of the show, offering them the chance to dive into the heart-pounding action and strategy that has made the show a hit.

“What makes this experience truly special is the unique combination of exploring London’s hidden spots while working together in a race against time. We can’t wait to see who comes out on top!”;

For anyone who wants to try out the course, head to their official website to join the waitlist.
