RAGING learner drivers attacked or threatened examiners virtually every day last year, shock figures reveal.
Calls for the test chiefs to be given body cameras grew as it emerged 362 were targeted â more than double the total of 170 eight years ago.

In recent years one examiner suffered a broken jaw when he failed a candidate.
Others needed treatment for fractures and cuts.
Most attacks were verbal, while some have driven off with examiners trapped inside the cars.
The yearly toll â topped only by the 610 immediately after were lifted â was unearthed by online platform ClickMechanic.
Boss Andrew Jervis said: “A driving test is a high-pressure situation.
“However, examiners should not be in fear of physical or verbal attacks.”;

But the insisted: “Whatever has happened, don’t take it out on our staff.
“If you do, we’ll press for the strongest possible penalties.”;
