Sickening real-life incest cases including mum & SON who had ‘mind-blowing sex’ – and their bizarre excuses for romances

IT'S the disturbing TV spectacle that has horrified fans and gone viral across the world.

The incest kiss between rich kid brothers Saxon and Lochlan in the latest episode of The White Lotus has sparked outrage, with disturbed viewers branding it “disgusting” and warning the hit show has gone “too far”.

However, while the warped scene might seem a stretch even for the bizarre world of the acclaimed HBO dark comedy, there are a horrifying number of high-profile real incest cases that prove life can be even stranger than fiction.

And while most of us might rightly wonder how anyone could ever pursue an illegal relationship with their blood relatives, some rare cases have previously tried to justify their behaviour by pointing to a controversial condition known as ‘Genetic Sexual Attraction (GSA)'.

This heavily-criticised concept is described as a powerful sexual attraction that occurs between biological relatives after long periods of time apart.

However, according to psychologist Emma Kenny, this is often little more than an unnerving excuse for individuals to “wrap their head around”; incest.

Speaking to Flying Eze, she explains: “The question Genetic Sexual Attraction poses is that the issue is not same as abuse because the related individuals did not grow up in a family dynamic.

“There is not a lot of research and it is a little bit of a murky area because incest does exist in families.”

She adds: “It is a really problematic thing to say there are ‘excuses'.

“Parent and child boundaries should exist no matter what.”

Scientists and psychologists are now growing increasingly alarmed about the future possibility of egg and sperm donations and GSA.

Biological dangers of incest include risks of childhood death and inheriting recessive genes, which can lead to birth defects and genetic diseases.

Those who have previously used GSA to justify their incest romances include a son who split up with his wife to have “mind-blowing sex” with his mother.

Kim West and Ben Ford

The most infamous case of GSA that caught the attention of the media worldwide was between Kim West and her son, Ben Ford.

Kim, from Michigan, gave up her son, Ben, for adoption in the mid-1980s after getting pregnant as a teenager.

Ben later tracked down his birth mother in 2014 and the pair went public with their incestuous relationship in 2016, claiming they had “mind-blowing sex”;.

Kim declared in an interview: “This is not incest, it is GSA. We are like peas in a pod and are meant to be together.

“It’s a once in a lifetime chance and something Ben and I are not willing to walk away from.”

Ben even dumped his wife at the time to pursue a relationship with his biological mother.

Ben told his wife: “Every time I have had sex with you since I met her, I imagine it's her I am kissing, otherwise I can't perform.”;

The couple were forced into hiding for their illegal relationship, which would have subjected them to up to 15 years in prison and put them on the Sex Offender’s Register for life.

Debby and Joe Zutant

Debby Zutant, from Key West, Florida, married her long-lost half-brother Joe in 2015, despite it being illegal in the United States.

The pair blamed their hidden relationship on GSA and said it was “love at first sight”; after being separated for years.

The couple hid their illegal love for ten years from their family but Debby decided to speak up, claiming that she is not ashamed.

Debby said: “After our second date, we made love. It didn't feel weird at all – it felt natural and like we belonged together.

“Although it's illegal, Joe and I got married, we are too in love to care.

“The registry office didn't notice we were related as we had different surnames, so we got away with it.”;

Three years after tying the knot, however, Debby revealed the pair had gone their seperate ways.

She told Mail Online: “I had had enough. His mother moved in with us two years ago and things have gone downhill since then.”

Danielle Heaney and Nick Cameron

Danielle Heaney and Nick Cameron, half-brother and sister, were convicted of incest in 2012.

Cameron had gone to stay with his mother in Glenrothes, Fife, in August 2006 and struck up a relationship with his half-sister after she split up with her husband.

When their mother suspected they were having sex she threw them out and later called the police.

Heaney's defence lawyer used the theory of GSA to try and help his client in court.

The lawyer said: “The usual taboos are not formed when siblings do not grow up together. That appears to be the situation with Ms Heaney.”;

The pair had been separated at birth and first met in their 20s at a family reunion.

Heaney said: “I know that loving my brother in this way is wrong morally and legally, but it just feels right.

“The only way to explain it is to say that the day I met Nick, I felt I had finally met my soulmate. Everything clicked. I would marry him if I could.”;

Shane Burke and Rose Bestall

Shane Burke, from Manchester, “developed romantic feelings” for his birth mother, Rose Bestall after tracking her down on Facebook in 2016.

The pair had been separated for 15 years and after Shane confessed his feelings, Rose told her son the relationship “could never be romantic”; but that she would not “push him away”;.

Shane believed he had GSA and had felt incomplete until he met his birth mother.

He later told the Sunday People: “Now I love Rose because she is my mum, nothing more. I call her Rose as we're all still adjusting but maybe in time I'll call her mum.”;
