Survive the City is a new TV series for a major broadcaster in which a cross-section of ordinary people must survive for 28 days in a ruined city.

The catch? You won't have any of the comforts of modern life but we very much doubt that you'll be attacked by flesh eating zombies.

Instead, this series will examine what we would do and how we cope when pushed to the edge of modern existence.

The show asks: “If civilisation as we know it came to an end, how would you cope?
