The man grabs the pole and starts hitting her

In the video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, a woman wearing a black fur-lined puffer jacket with grey flared trousers and white shoes initiates the first whack upon a lorry driver.

This prompts him to charge at her, grabbing her jacket and attempting to pry the pole from her.

After some wrestling and loud grunting, the DHL driver commandeers the pole and starts smacking the woman.

She attempts to fight back, however, bystanders rush to intervene.

The video was shot from Erdington High Street in Birmingham and uploaded to X on March 22 at 1.07pm.

It has received over 210,000 views and varied reaction.

One person commented: “What happened to just beeping horn and swearing with the odd finger salute ?!”

Followed by a second person: “Even worse to see when you remember that very same section of the high street, as it used to be.”

Others questioned where the police were and why bystanders only intervened once the woman was struck.

They wrote: “When she was hitting, no one showed up until he started hitting.”

Shocking moment two men WRESTLE in ‘road rage row’ leading to huge delays as passerby shouts 'he’s getting sparked'

West Midlands Police has been approached for a comment.

It comes after two men were recorded wrestling in a “road rage row” that led to huge delays near Heathrow Airport on the A30.

In the video, a queue of cars can be seen stuck behind one another at the junction.

The passenger of a passing car films the incident from behind, where the driver's side doors of both a grey Toyota Prius and maroon Ford Fiesta can be seen open.

As the vehicle passes forward, two men can then be seen brawling in front of the Prius, with the filming passenger shouting “he's getting sparked.”

Footage then shows a woman exiting the Fiesta to intervene in the situation.

The brawling pair had been at a set of traffic lights when they got into a row.

Flaring tempers had got the duo into a dust-up which saw them grappling on the ground and holding uptraffic.

The incident garnered both a comical and frustrated response online from many viewers.

One local said: “Two drivers have a full on wrestle near Hatton Cross.”;

Then another joked: “Not fast, just furious.”;

Meanwhile a third added: “New sport in coming...road wrestling.”;

Another local fumed: “Caused delays for nothing.”;

Followed by a fifth: “Your Uber has arrived.”;
