BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set a new record on Billboard’s Hot 100!
On April 22 local time, Billboard revealed that Rosé and Bruno Mars’ smash hit “”; had successfully remained on the Hot 100 (its weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States) for a 26th consecutive week. For the week ending on April 26, “APT.”; held steady at No. 13.
“APT.”; has now overtaken FIFTY FIFTY’s 2023 hit “”; to become the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist on the Hot 100, breaking the record of 25 weeks set by “Cupid”; two years ago.
“APT.”; is also only the fourth song by a K-pop act to chart for 26 weeks on the Hot 100, following PSY’s “,”; BTS’s “,”; and BTS’s Jimin’s “Who.”;
Meanwhile, Rosé’s solo album “”; extended its own record on the Billboard 200 for the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist, maintaining its position at No. 98 in its 19th consecutive week on the chart.
Rosé also extended her record as the longest-charting female K-pop soloist on Billboard’s Artist 100, where she took No. 72 in her 27th overall week on the chart.
Outside of the Hot 100, “APT.”; stayed strong at No. 2 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, No. 3 on the Global 200, No. 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and No. 16 on the Streaming Songs chart. “APT.”; also ranked No. 11 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart (which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States) and No. 15 on the Radio Songs chart (which measures U.S. radio plays across all musical genres, not just Top 40 pop).
