Prince William joins Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper in show of support to Britain’s young farmers

ONE is ready for one’s close-up.

Showbiz may be filled with drama queens – but once in a while, an actual member of the Royal Family pops up on set to film a cameo fit for a king.

Take Prince William’s appearance on Clarkson’s Farm – which comes after meeting Kaleb Cooper from the show.

Yesterday Flying Eze told how William teased the popular TV farmer with a word of warning from his eldest son Prince George, who is a fan.

The heir to the throne revealed: “I said to him, ‘What shall I say if I meet Kaleb?’. He said, ‘Tell Kaleb to mind his language’.”;

The pair aim to shine a light on mental health in the farming community.

William and Kaleb took part in discussions and events that will feature in a future episode of Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime series, as well as BBC’s Countryfile.

Meanwhile, we have these royal cameos to keep us thoroughly entertained. Take a bow, your highnesses.

QUEEN ELIZABETH WITH BOND & PADDINGTON

Queen Elizabeth’s legendary Olympics skit will go down in history as one of the all-time greatest royal triumphs.

In a televised short film to kick off the 2012 London Olympics’ opening ceremony celebrations, James Bond (played by Daniel Craig) was seen visiting Buckingham Palace and being introduced to Her Majesty as she sat at her desk.

Elizabeth turned to him and deadpanned: “Good evening, Mr Bond.”;

The pair of them then marched down the halls of the palace and boarded a helicopter, before the Queen’s stunt double parachuted straight into the Olympic Stadium in East London. We were duly shaken and stirred.

Proving her Bond cameo wasn’t a one-hit wonder, Queen Elizabeth did it again a decade later by marking her 2022 Platinum Jubilee with a VIP co-star.

Sitting down for tea with Paddington Bear (voiced by Ben Whishaw), Her Majesty displayed some excellent comic timing as she raised her eyebrows at his clumsy tea-pouring skills and revealed she kept her own marmalade sandwich in her handbag “for later”;.

CHARLES ON CORRIE .. AND WITH CAMILLA ON ENDERS

PRINCE CHARLES popped into the Rovers Return in 2000 for a quick drink to commemorate Coronation Street’s 40th anniversary.

He also filmed a scene with Audrey Roberts (played by Sue Nicholls) who was protesting against the local council’s plans to dig up Corrie’s famous cobblestones.

Charles also appeared with Camilla on EastEnders in 2022

In 2022, Charles appeared with Camilla on the ITV soap’s BBC rival EastEnders to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The pair visited a Walford street party, hosted by Mick and Linda Carter (played by Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright), and enjoyed a glass of bubbly – before being mistaken for lookalikes.

FERGIE ON FRIENDS

Fergie stole the show with her flirty banter and effortless ease in front of the camera alongside Joey and Chandler on Friends

Fergie proved she’ll be there for you in 1998 when she played herself in an episode of Friends.

For the few among us who haven’t seen every episode of the beloved US sitcom at least 20 times, the premise is that Joey bumps into the duchess while sightseeing in central London after falling out with Chandler over his novelty tourist hat.

Sarah then records a message for Chandler, telling him: “Joey says you don’t really like his hat, but I think it’s kind of dashing.”;

Other notable cameos from British stars in the London-based special included billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson as a market trader, and actor and comedian Hugh Laurie playing a very fed-up passenger on a plane.

But Fergie stole the show with her flirty banter and effortless ease in front of the camera – convincing us all she belonged full-time on the Central Perk sofa.

CHARLES & CAMILLA WEATHER FORECAST

Charles stood in front of a green screen to read the weather forecast

Charles and Camilla visited the Beeb’s Pacific Quay studios in Glasgow in 2012 to celebrate Holyrood Week – and they also stood in front of a green screen to read the weather forecast.

Charles said: “A cold day everywhere with temperatures of just 8C and a brisk northerly wind. Thank God it isn’t a bank holiday.”;

And Camilla warned of “the potential for a few flurries over Balmoral as the afternoon goes on”;.

It may have been grey skies above, but the royal couple cast sunny spells in the studio.

BEATRICE IN QUEEN VICTORIA MOVIE

Princess Beatrice played a lady-in-waiting in 2009 movie The Young Victoria

PRINCESS BEATRICE got a taste of life below stairs when she played a lady-in-waiting in 2009 movie The Young Victoria.

She attended to the every need of the 19th-century monarch – Bea’s great-great-great-great grandmother, played by Emily Blunt.

As for the curious reason behind her cameo in the movie, it is worth noting that Bea’s mum, Sarah Ferguson, was one of the film’s producers – proving nepo babies are not just found in Hollywood.

KATE READS A BEDTIME STORY

Princess Kate became the first royal to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Story in 2022

ANY child who wanted a princess to read to them before they fell asleep would have been in luck in 2022.

The Princess of Wales became the first royal to appear on CBeebies Bedtime Story in 2022, following in the footsteps of actors including Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hardy and Ewan McGregor.

Her presence on the show came four years after she appeared on another kids’ favourite, Blue Peter.

Some may have been put to sleep by her soothing reading of The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark by Jill Tomlinson – but that was the point, wasn’t it?

IT’S A KNOCKOUT DISASTER JUST DOES OUR ED IN

Fergie, Edward, Andrew and Anne in period costume

THE charity royal version of wacky sports challenge It’s A Knockout is TV that many of its 18million viewers would rather forget.

The brainchild of Prince Edward, the 1987 medieval tournament featured Princess Anne, Prince Andrew and wife Fergie and a sea of celebs.

Rowan Atkinson, Anneka Rice and Toyah Willcox dressed as vegetables and lobbed ham at each other.

Edward stormed haughtily out of a Press conference and, although it raised £1.5m, he took years to live it down.

ITV celebrated its anniversary with a reception for the Queen, attended by celebrities from the channel including Lorraine Kelly, Mary Nightingale, Ellie Simmonds and Brenda Blethyn.

The Queen, 77, said she was a “fan”; of Trigger Point and the “greatest fan”; of the network, which launched in 1955.

She added: “I’d like to say a very, very happy 70th birthday to all of you. I’m a bit older and I do remember ITV starting on those very old televisions in those days.

“I do remember the excitement of suddenly having another channel.

“To watch how you’ve gone from there, how much you’ve appealed to the nation, is absolutely brilliant.”;

Camilla watched a short film looking back at ITV’s history before cutting a black and white clapperboard-themed cake.
