A Russian missile attack on Thursday killed no fewer than one person and injured five others, damaging a civilian warehouse in Dnipro city of Ukraine.

Writing on the Telegram messaging app, regional governor Serhiy Lysak said the attack sparked a massive fire.

An image published by regional prosecutors showed a building with collapsed walls covered in smoke and flames.

In the same vein, local channels posted videos of heavy black smoke rising into the sky.

According to Dnipro mayor, Borys Filatov, the missile hit a storage facility for diapers.

The regional governor added that a Russian drone also wounded 13 people and damaged a residential building in the town of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Another city in the region, Kryvyi Rih, was in mourning following Friday's Russian missile strike that killed nine children and 11 adults.
