Starting in May, holidaymakers will be able to hop on a flight from Bristol to Toulouse-Blagnac.

Flying twice-weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, the route opens in May and runs until late October.

Toulouse is famously known as ‘La Ville Rose', or to Brits as ‘The Pink City'.

Anyone who has been will have seen it's tinged with pink, which is because of the terracotta bricks.

Toulouse is a very popular destination at the moment and was named the top city in the world to visit in 2025 by Lonely Planet.

We can understand why too, along with the pink city – which is a draw in itself, Toulouse has great food, and it's easy to explore the historic city on foot.

For anyone who loves outside spaces, they have two beautiful botanical gardens, the Jardin des Plantes and Jardin Japonais.

The city has plenty of places to eat as well, as the streets are lined with busy restaurants and cafes.

Make sure to stop by the historic Victor Hugo market, with more than 90 stalls selling the best local cheeses, meats, seafood and cakes.

For anyone wanting to head out in the evening, Toulouse has a vibrant nightlife, the city centre maze and Place du Capitole, is known for its bars and clubs.
