tvN’s upcoming drama “Our Unwritten Seoul”; has unveiled the first glimpse of Ryu Kyung Soo’s character!
“Our Unwritten Seoul”; is a romantic drama about identical twin sisters Yoo Mi Ji and Yoo Mi Rae (both played by Park Bo Young) who lead completely different lives. After switching identities through a web of lies, they embark on a journey to discover real love and the true meaning of life.
Ryu Kyung Soo plays Han Se Jin, a novice farm owner who unexpectedly leaves city life to start over in the countryside. After giving up his career, he joins the team at Duson Village Changhwa Farm. He faces challenges with strawberry farming while also showing a charming and friendly side in his interactions with the locals.
In newly released stills, Han Se Jin is shown adapting to daily life, moving between farming tools with a relaxed facial expression. Like a book misplaced on a library shelf, his presence sparks curiosity and brings change to the village.
Though he is a beginner—easily startled by a single grub in the strawberry field—his refined speech and behavior stand out. In a moment where he tours the warehouse and village, the mix of urban sophistication and rural simplicity creates unique harmony.
Ryu Kyung Soo shared, “I thought the character’s unique charm and the theme of comfort throughout the script would be comforting for me as well,”; explaining his approach to the role. He described Han Se Jin as “a character who is seemingly soft yet deep, lighthearted yet carrying a sense of deep loneliness and loss.”;
The real reason Han Se Jin settles in the village, along with his identity and growth story, will be revealed over time. As a rookie farm owner, he faces trial and error but connects with villagers, each with their own story, while searching for true life and love.
