Samsung insider reveals top tricks every user needs to know about to save battery and storage

SAMSUNG is chucking in a free phone if you snap up one of its top gadgets.

The South Korean tech giant is running a special promotion – and it's only active for a few more days.

You'll get the free phone as part of a promotion for buying the Galaxy Book5 Pro laptop

It's part of a deal on one of Samsung‘s laptops – which itself is currently discounted – if you're buying it directly from the company's official website.

If you snap up the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro, you'll get a free phone thrown in.

Specifically, the Samsung Galaxy A35, which currently retails for £339.

The bad news is that there's not long left on the promotion: it's only valid until April 8 this year.

You'll also need to fork out for the laptop itself, which currently starts at £1,499.

Normally the notebook costs £1,699, but Samsung is also offering a £200-off promotion on the device.

It's a decent deal if you're in the market for a new laptop.

But it's probably not worth buying the laptop for the new phone alone, as it's a mid-range device rather than one of the company's top-end models.

TECH SPECS

The laptop itself comes in two variants: a 14-inch display model and a bigger (plus costlier) 16-inch alternative.

They both ship with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, an Intel Arc 140V GPU (16GB), and 512GB of storage.

It's worth noting that Samsung is also giving the phone away on a few other devices, including:

  • Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Book5 360
  • Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360
  • Samsung Chromebook Plus

Again, the deal for all of those will expire on April 8, which is the deadline to buy the main device.

After that, you'll need to claim your free smartphone by clicking this link.

You need to do that within 30 days of purchase or you'll miss out.

The free phone is a Samsung Galaxy A35 in ‘Awesome Navy' colour option.

Samsung should let you know within five working days whether the claim is successful, and then your reward phone will be shipped out to you.

SMART PHONE

The Galaxy A35 is one of Samsung's mid-range 5G-friendly smartphones.

It has three cameras on the back (including a 50-megapixel wide-angle snapper), as well as a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

The phone sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display (so there's a tiny cut-out for the selfie cam at the top), with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoothness.
