HIT US show Saturday Night Live is FINALLY coming to the UK after 50 years.
The US phenomenon has become one of the most awarded shows in TV history and now a UK spin-off is firmly in the works.

Next year, UK will launch on Sky Max and streaming service NOW from the same creative team behind the US fan-favourite.
SNL creator Lorne Michaels, who currently executive produces the US run will also executive produce when the show comes to next year.
Sky have confirmed that it will follow the exact same format as its American counterpart with a slew of top Brit comedians, celebrities and musicians all expected to be a part of the programme.
They will all be declaring the show's infamous catchphrase, with a new British twist, when the show debuts in 2026 – “Live from London, it’s Saturday Night!”;
Stars such as , Tina Fey, and have hosted episodes of the programme over the years.
Each episode sees an A-list host deliver an opening comedy monologue before joining in with a whole host of different sketches alongside the regular ensemble cast of the show.
It has also become a prime spot for singers with a musical guest delivering two songs per episode.
, Tate McRae and have all appeared in recent weeks on the US version.
