Scotland: Injured Balogun ruled out of St Mirren vs Rangers

Leon Balogun in unavailable for Rangers' away trip to St Mirren due to injury, DAILY POST reports.

Balogun underwent surgery this week for a cheekbone injury.

The 36-year-old fractured his cheekbone in the Light Blues UEFA Europa League clash with Athletico Bilbao last week.

The centre-back is however expected to return to acton before the end of the season.

Balogun has made 23 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season.

He is out of contract this summer and could leave the club on a free transfer.
