Vaping inside leaves film of 'thick, toxic slime all over home that can seep through skin'
WE usually see celebrities polished and acting up for the camera and rarely see a glimpse of their real lives.
So catching them out puffing on a vape while at the beach or outside a lavish event is a shock to the system.
Here, Fabulous reveals which of your favourite celebs are secret vapersWhile some have quit, others are still addicted to the nicotine
It might leave you shocked to find out your favourite celebrities are secret vapers.
According to ASH, the use of vapes and electronic cigarettes has skyrocketed over the last decade.
The number of users has risen from around 800,000 in 2012 to 5.6 million in 2024.
More than half of current vapers are people who quit cigarettes, according to the research.
From pop star Katy Perry to supermodel Bella Hadid, here we look at the perfect celebrities who enjoy a nicotine hit in their spare time.
Katy Perry
Katy perry says pregnancy stopped her addicitons, like vaping
The pop star has been caught smoking numerous times over the years.
In September 2013, she was spotted smoking what looked like an electric cigarette while enjoying a bottle of beer.
But it seems that since becoming a mum with her husband Orlando Bloom, Katy has ditched the habit.
The 40-year-old thanked her pregnancy in 2020 for getting rid of her addictions on Australia‘s Fifi, Fev & Byron show.
Katy said: “I'm still maintaining the balance, I'm not running myself ragged and I'm not at the club…
“When you stop drinking and smoking and start creating a baby your body is like ‘Well thanks for treating me nice for one day.'
“Usually I'm a dry martini in and [my body] is like “Please can I have a dirty, an extra dirty martini!'”

Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner is often spotted vaping on Snapchat
The Kardashians are well known for keeping their image as squeaky clean as they possibly can.
But the youngest of the bunch, Kylie Jenner, 27, is open to sharing her naughty side on Snapchat.
Just last year, the mum-of-two filmed herself in her car smoking a vape.
Not only that, but she showed off her impressive smoking skills blowing out rings.
While she may not show it on other platforms, her Snapchat has become a hotspot for showing off her technique.
Richard Hammond
Richard Hammond ditched cigarettes for the vaporuiser
The former Top Gear presenter has given up smoking cigarettes for almost ten years.
However, Richard Hammond, 55, continues to get his hit with a vape and was caught in 2023 puffing away at London‘s Saville Row.
Back on What Next? in 2022, he played a game of chess with James May as he share his cheeky trick to get away with smoking indoors.
He took a not-so-discreet puff of his vape before getting an empty gin glass and blowing the fumes into it.
“I've got away with that on airplanes,” he whispered.
“I wonder if anybody's vaping. Not that bloke with the steamed up gin and tonic glass, obviously,” joked James.
Smoking vs. vaping
VAPING has been touted as an effective tool to help people quit smoking.
Though vaping is substantially less harmful than smoking, the habit isn't completely harmless and comes with its own set of risks.
The NHS only recommends it for adult smokers, to support quitting smoking.
GP and author Dr Philippa Kaye explained to Flying Eze that the differences between vaping and smoking – and whether one is better than the other – is “complicated”.
“In a nutshell, vaping is better than smoking, but breathing air is better than vaping at all.”
Vaping exposes users to far fewer toxins – and at lower levels – than smoking cigarettes.
Switching to vaping significantly reduces your exposure to toxins that can cause cancer, lung disease, and diseases of the heart and circulation like heart attack and stroke.
These diseases are not caused by nicotine, which is relatively harmless to health. But research has still linked vaping to a higher risk of failure and lung disease.
Health risks of cigarettes
Smokers are more likely than nonsmokers to develop heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer
Smokers are at greater risk for diseases that affect the heart and blood vessels
Smoking can cause lung disease by damaging your airways and the small air sacs
Smoking can cause cancer almost anywhere in your body
It affects overall health too, such as your mouth, eyes, immune system and fertility
Health risks of vaping
They can cause side effects such as throat and mouth irritation, headache, cough and feeling sick
They could lead to tooth decay
They could damage heart health
They could cause lung disease
They could slow brain development

Bella Hadid
Bella revealed she was giving up the habit back in 2019
Most supermodels swear by living a healthy lifestyle to make sure their body and skin looks its best for photoshoots or the catwalk, but not Bella Hadid.
The 28-year-old filmed herself using an e-cigarette back in 2019 and uploaded the footage to Instagram.
But she revealed she was doing it to keep herself accountable to giving up for the New Year.
It makes sense considering Bella was diagnosed with Lyme disease and was focused on her health journey.
Bella suffers from chronic Lyme disease, blaming her infection with the tick-borne illness for forcing her to end her promising equestrian career, and dreams of Olympic stardom as an equastrian.
Katie Price
Katie Price vowed to stop this year but hasn't yet
The former glamour model and TV personality has been seen puffing her vape on social media over the past year.
The 46-year-old vowed to quit in January this year due to her mum's IPF diagnosis and lung transplant in 2023.
Taking to Instagram, Katie Price said: “I have a big confession to make, and if there's anyone out there who wants to join me, do it.
“I've been vaping for a year, and it's no good for you – especially when my mum has had a lung transplant. It's disrespectful doing this in front of my mum.”
“I've decided that today is the day I am throwing this battery, chemical, addictive, horrible thing away. I am now doing vapes no more from today.
“I've got the strength to get rid of them. Join me. It's going in the bin, that's it. I've cleared all of my vapes out of the car and everything.”
However, earlier this month she shared a YouTube video of her sitting in her front room and it seemed she hadn't given up just yet.
She chatted with her sister Sophie while Olive, four months, was asleep on her lap.
Katie leaned back and took a puff of her vape – ensuring not to directly vape into the newborn's face – which her sister Sophie seemed completely unfazed by.
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received complaints about seven Vype posts in 2019, three of which featured captioned pictures of singer Lily Allen which were ultimately taken down.
Sophie Turner
Sophie Turner revealed how it helped her in acting roles
Ever since her rise to fame in Game of Thrones, Sophie Turner has been a vaper.
One behind-the-scenes image saw her smoking on set, she later revealed dit was ‘creme brulee' flavoured.
And she continues to keep up the habit even saying it helps her get into her roles while filming.
Jennifer Lawrence, who worked with Sophie in X-Men told chat show host Jimmy Kimmel: “I teared up a little bit watching Sophie in that scene.”;
“It was so honest and real, and it’s because she really was crying because her dialect coach, right before the take, took her Juul away...She started genuinely tearing up. It was like the performance of the year. It was amazing.”;
Angela Rayner
Deputy Labour Prime Minister, Angela Rayner admitted she was a ‘vape dragon'
The Deputy Prime Minister of the UK is often caught having a secret vape while at work.
The 47-year-old was spotted vaping just outside her London property and admits her habit has taken over.
Back in 2023, Angela admitted that her children called her a ‘vape dragon.'
Speaking to Sky News she said: “I wish I could give upvaping. I’m going to do my utmost to make sure that I do that.
“And youngpeopleneed to know that vaping is not a way forward and they should not get addicted to it because it is incredibly addictive and costly as well. So they need to stop.”;
Cara Delevigne
Cara Delevigne used to smoke before heading to rehab for addiction
The British supermodel was spotted puffing away on a vape back at a Knicks game in 2014.
The 32-year-old has previously spoken about her battle with addiction in recent years.
Speaking to Flying Ezeday Times last year, Cara said: “I used to think drugs and alcohol helped me cope ... but they didn’t, they kept me sad and super depressed.
“I feel like I’ve got my power back and I’m not being controlled by other things.”
Kate Garraway
Kate Garraway admits that vaping is too addictive
TV presenter Kate Garraway was caught vaping back in 2019 while attending Wimbledon after she quit smoking for years.
The mum-of-two had started vaping in 2009 when she fell pregnant, but decided to ditch the habit for good when she had a stint in the jungle for I'm a Celebrity caused her to start the habit again.
Kate admitted to “hating”; herself for it, as she told her co-stars: “The last thing I want to do is anyway in sanction [vaping], because I don’t now.
“But my experience was, after Billy was born, I did smoke before and I was craving going back to smoking [but] didn’t want to.
“I thought [vaping] was amazing, because it didn’t smell, at that point you could do it anywhere, it must have been like smoking in the 70s, you didn’t have to stand outside.
“Everybody said it was better for you, and I did feel much better. I got the nicotine hit.”;
Kate then switched to chewing gums and sprays instead to satisfy her cravings, before going on I’m A Celeb.
But in 2023, her desire to vape returned, as Kate explained: “I think we had some props in here or something ridiculous, and I picked it up and I was instantly addicted, like beyond anything!
“I couldn’t believe it and it made me realise how, particularly those disposable ones, are so addictive.”;
