Serie A: Red-Hot Osimhen targets new record as Napoli host Empoli

Victor Osimhen will look to reach another height when Serie A leaders, Napoli host Empoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Tuesday night (today).

Osimhen has scored in his last four Serie A appearances to underline his status as one of Napoli’s top stars.

The 23-year-old will match Arkadiusz Milik’s record by getting another goal today.

Milik was the last Napoli player to have found the net for five consecutive matches, a feat Osimhen will be desperate to equal.

The Poland international achieved the feat in 2019.

Osimhen became the highest-scoring Nigerian in the Italian top-flight after scoring once in Napoli’s 2-1 away win at Atalanta last Saturday.

Napoli are unbeaten in Serie A this season.
