I don’t want to get technical, but I think we passed “weird” about a month ago. We’re officially in “TOO MUCH” territory right now when it comes to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. Kourtney and Travis are 42 and 45, respectively, but ever since they got together, it’s like they have both been possessed by the demon spirits of two extremely horny high school seniors that won’t stop making out directly in front of your locker. And Travis Barker’s ex-wife Shanna Moakler also thinks Kourtney and Travis are doing too much in the weirdest way possible.
We already knew that Shanna allegedly feels like Travis and Kourtney have been moving pretty quickly, and part of that speed could possibly be blamed on Travis not having to spend too much time getting creative about how to woo his new lady. Because according to his old lady, he’s using all the same tricks on Kourtney as he did on Shanna, and Shanna’s not having it. Watch out Greta Thunberg, you’re not the only one with a tireless commitment to reusing and recycling. via People magazine:
“I’m very much over my ex. It’s been a long time. However, do I think some of the PDA that he’s doing with her is weird? [Yes],” Moakler, who was previously married to Barker, and shares three kids with the musician, tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“The movie, True Romance, that I feel like they’ve been bonding over was the theme of our wedding. Our daughter’s named after the character in the movie. Flying banners overhead like we did on Meet the Barkers. Stuff like that…I just think it’s weird,” says Moakler.
Travis and Shanna’s daughter is named Alabama, which is the same name as the character played by Patricia Arquette in the 1993 film. And they have been split up since 2008, so it’s probably safe to say she’s telling the truth when she says she’s over her ex-husband. But two things can be true, and she can also think it’s suspicious when she catches a case of déjà-vu when she sees that Travis has been flying banners over his girlfriend’s house. But, something that might not be as true is Shanna’s claim about True Romance being the theme of her and Travis’ wedding. According to this People article from 2004, the theme of their Halloween Eve wedding was The Nightmare Before Christmas. So her claim about Travis going full True Romance fan with Kourtney might be a bit of an exaggeration. Still, Shanna tells People she’s not bitter in the least, and all she really cares about is whether Kourtney is good to her kids:
“I’m really, genuinely happy for him. I want the father of my kids to be happy and to have a partner that makes him happy…and a better father. As long as she’s good to my children, that’s truly all I really care about.”
Well, it sounds like Shanna also truly cares about how public Travis and Kourtney’s displays of affection are, which means this news is probably going to be the bee in her bonnet today. Travis has already gotten a tattoo of Kourtney’s name, and Kourtney recently revealed on Instagram that Travis has yet another tattoo dedicated to Kourtney on his body, this time courtesy of Kourtney herself. Travis now has a sloppy, wiggly “i love you” tattooed on his right forearm.

I might have missed the KUWTK episode where Kourtney gets certified in tattoos, piercings, and body modification, but I’m pretty sure that never happened. So, this tattoo was given by an unlicensed, untrained civilian, possibly in an unlicensed establishment that might be Kourtney’s kitchen. Ah, finding someone worth a round of antibiotics to clear up a messy post-tattoo skin infection for – that’s true romance right there.
