‘OMG, need to go asap!’ shoppers gasp as THOSE Bluey chairs return to Aldi’s middle aisle & there’s a new character too

THEY caused a furore when they hit Aldi's middle aisle last year, with parents hitting multiple stores in a bid to find one.

So it's no wonder people who missed out on nabbing one of the viral Bluey kids' chairs are gearing up to try and nab one this time around.

There's also a new character option – in the form of Bluey and Bingo's Aunt Trixie

There are also a host of other Bluey toys on offer in the middle aisle, including some plush backpacks and a pop-up football goal

The adorable soft plush chairs originally came in two different designs – Bluey or best friend Bingo – and cost £24.99 each.

But now there's a new character on the block – Aunt Trixie – who is Bluey and Bingo's aunt and Muffin and Socks' mum.

One shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share their excitement after spotting the buy in their local store.

Posting a picture of the two chairs, showing the bins beneath stuffed full of the viral must have, they also revealed exactly where they'd found the items in stock.

“Back in Aldi bellshill,” they wrote, referring to the town in North Lanarkshire in Scotland.

“Motherwell has them as well,” another responded – mentioning the other Aldi just down the road.

Mari also shared some pictures of the chairs in her local store on the Facebook page, as she added: “I know a lot were looking for these.

“Might be an idea to check your local Aldi!”

“This is Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire,” she revealed.

“OMG!” one person raved in the comments.

To which their pal replied: “I need to go there asap! Fancy a trip tomorrow?”

Mari's pictures also showed some of the other Bluey items to hit the stores this week – including a pop-up football goal, a wooden toy mechanics set and some adorable plush character backpacks for £12.99.

Bluey is a cartoon TV show, which follows the life of a seven-year-old dog and her family.

It is the number-one show on CBeebies in the UK.

IF it's middle aisle buys that you're looking here, some of the new items you won't want to miss.

Shoppers recently went wild for Aldi's new ‘pregnancy and menopause essential' – and it's only £6.99.

Garden enthusiasts raced to nab a £6.99 buy that will add style to any garden in an instant.

A £12.99 garden find left shoppers open-mouthed – but you'll need to sprint to nab it.

If you're looking to light up your garden this summer, you won't want to miss this £8.99 solar light.

“Bluey enthusiasts better be quick if they want to get their paws on this playroom must have, as with all Specialbuys, once they are gone, they are gone,” Aldi said in a statement.

While Aldi were the first store to release the chairs, others quickly followed suit, with stores including Game UK and Very selling their own versions.

There's even a sofa design in John Lewis – with Bingo and Bluey joined together to make a two-seater option.
