IT'S most well known for being a centre piece in the Love Island villa.

But a fire pit can actually provide an aesthetically pleasing addition to a garden – and a practical one to boot.

And you don't have to spend hundreds on one either, as there's an option in Argos that will set you back just £25.

The square firepit is made from 100% steel, with a “contemporary slatted design and a reinforced floor”.

The “strong, smart and sensible” design also has an ash tray which doubles up as a lid, meaning you can transform the pit into a table whenever it's not lit.

And the positive reviews flooded in on the Argos website, with 100% of customers recommending the pit.

“The right size for my small outside area and just one or two people,” one wrote.

“The underneath tray is really a nice lid so it doesn't collect water and also I use it as a mini coffee table when not in use as a firepit.

“Haven't tried to use it as a BBQ yet but will see if poss at some point. Good value.”

“This fireplace was easy to assemble and simple to use,” another added.

“We've used it once and it's held up perfectly.

“After being used its bowed a little but that's to be expected.”

“I haven't used it yet, but it looks great,” a third wrote.

“The cover is great to turn into an extra side table outdoors as well as catching some of the ash.

“I thought it would be tiny judging from the packaging, but it's a great size.”

“Bought this 3 weeks ago, easy to assemble, and good heat,” another said.

While others said it was the perfect compact size if you've got a smaller outdoor space.

“Brought 2 weeks ago, great little fire pit for my small garden,” one wrote.

“As it was only £30 I didn't think it would be up to much, but quite surprised!” another said.

“Sturdy and compact, ideal for small patio.”

“Great fire pit,” a third said.

“We have a small garden so it’s perfect.

“Great value too.”
