SHOPPERS are racing to get their hands on a new KitKat flavour scanning for just 69p at a major supermarket.

KitKat's Chunky Hazelnut DUO bar consists of crispy wafer, topped with hazelnut spread, all wrapped in a scrumptious layer of smooth chocolate.

Farmfoods is selling the bars for a bargain price

We have one beady-eyed bargain hunter to thank for revealing this find.

Posting to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the shopper shared a snap of the bars.

They said: “69p on duo chocolate bars. @ Farmfoods parc tawe Swansea.”

Comments from shoppers have been pouring in since the post went up yesterday.

One person questioned whether 69p is really a bargain, to which another replied: “Try 2 for £4.”

Followed by another: “This is cheap. They're £1.39 everywhere.”

“How is it expensive?” asked another shopper.

Meanwhile other shoppers praised the bargain hunter for the find.

Tesco also appears to be selling the bars, but for £1 each.

It comes after in Hazelnut, Salted Caramel and Double Chocolate.

The feature a cocoa-flavoured filling, covered with thick, milk and dark chocolate marbled swirls.
