SOUTH KOREA has reached the last-16 of the World Cup after a dramatic 2-1 win over Portugal.

Hee-Chan Hwang scored in the 90th minute to send South Korea through – and Uruguay home.

The Uruguayans defeated Ghana 2-0 in Group H’s other clash – but they go out on goals scored after ending up on the same amount of points as South Korea.
