Strictly snubbed by BAFTA TV Awards as it fails to receive nod for first time following scandals and BBC investigation

STRICTLY Come Dancing has failed to receive a BAFTA TV nomination for the first time in the show's history.

The long-running BBC programme debuted in 2004 and has been nominated each year since 2005.

Fans have seen Strictly take home the gong in 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2024.

The snub follows Strictly Come Dancing scandals spanning recent months.
